| SIRS Releases Lewis & Clark Photo Essays in Print

- In celebration of the Lewis & Clark Bicentennial, SIRS has released
the Lewis & Clark Photo Essays, a set of 32 laminated 11x14 printed
posters (4 units of 8) with images of their journey accompanied by
brief, yet educational text. Each unit of eight fits on a
classroom-size bulletin board. Photo Essays are excellent tools for
grades 4-7, special education and speech students, home schoolers,
school libraries (as a backdrop for book displays) and public
libraries (to enhance the Children's Section).
Students can experience the Lewis & Clark expedition firsthand.
Each comprehensive unit of eight covers an aspect of the expedition,
they include: Native Americans; Historical Aspects; Plants & Animals;
and The Journey.
